Evolution Enterprise Trust
The Evolution Education Trust funds the use of evolutionary science in research, education and outreach, having allocated over £24m since 2010 to projects that improve public understanding of evolution and address challenges in conservation and human health.
I refreshed the brand identity for EET, which set the creative direction for the site redesign. The original black and white sketches of Charles Darwin's finches remained central to the identity, but I introduced a modern aquamarine palette drawn from the colours of the Galapagos Islands, along with new typography and abstract shapes inspired by the updated logo.
The content architecture evolved through a series of conversations with the client, using visuals and spreadsheets to map content types and their relationships. A directory connects through to related projects with search and filtering, and news stories link across too, keeping users moving through the site naturally.
